Roof Repair in Boise, Idaho
Not every roof problem is a new-roof problem. A lifted shingle after a Treasure Valley wind storm, a cracked pipe boot, a leak at the chimney flashing, or an ice dam that pushed water under the edge can all be fixed for a fraction of a replacement. R2F Construction repairs roofs across Boise and the surrounding cities, and we start every job with a free inspection and a straight answer.
If your roof has years left in it, we will say so and fix the problem. If a repair would just be throwing money at a roof that is done, we will show you why. We have talked plenty of homeowners out of work they did not need yet, and that is the reputation we want.
What We Do for
Roof Repair
Leak diagnosis and repair
Finding where the water is actually getting in, which is rarely where the stain is. Attic inspection included.
Wind and storm damage
Lifted, creased, or missing shingles after the wind events that roll through the valley. Matched materials, sealed properly.
Flashing and penetrations
Chimney, skylight, and wall flashing, plus the pipe boots that crack from UV exposure at our elevation. The most common leak sources on Boise roofs.
Ice dam damage and prevention
Repairing water damage at the eaves and fixing the attic insulation and ventilation problems that caused the dam in the first place.
Hail damage assessment
An honest look at whether hail actually damaged the roof or just the gutters. Written documentation and photos you can take to your insurance company.
Free roof inspections
Buying a house, selling one, or just unsure what shape the roof is in. We inspect, photograph, and give you a written summary at no charge.

Roof Repair FAQ for
Boise Homeowners
Is a roof inspection really free?
Yes, with no obligation. We inspect the roof and the attic, photograph what we find, and tell you honestly whether anything needs attention. If the answer is "nothing right now," that is what we will say.
Should I repair or replace my roof?
It depends on age, how many problem areas there are, and the condition of the decking. A single leak on a 10-year-old architectural shingle roof is a repair. Widespread granule loss and multiple leaks on a 25-year-old roof is a replacement. We show you both numbers and the reasoning so the decision is yours.
How fast can you get to a leak?
Active leaks go to the front of the schedule. We can usually get out for an inspection within a day or two and often do an emergency tarp or temporary fix on that first visit.
Will my homeowners insurance cover the repair?
Sudden damage from wind or hail is often covered. Wear, age, and neglected maintenance usually are not. We document the damage with photos and a written summary you can give your adjuster. We do not pressure you to file a claim and we do not inflate scope to make one work.
Can you match my existing shingles?
Usually, if the roof is a common architectural shingle. Color fades over time so a repair on a 15-year-old roof will be visible up close. On a newer roof it blends well. We will tell you what to expect before we start.
